Wiring Diagrams

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or a link to a "how to" section that describes how to perform the conversion from US spec lights to EDM style lights (or from EDM to US)? I recall finding a post on DSMTuners or something that explained which wires had to be switched, but can't find it.

I can probably figure it out after a bit of time, but figured I would ask for the shortcut.

After a little more reading, I assume that I just need to swap the plugs from my corner lights into the driving lights, and also swap the driving light plug to the corner lights.

I'm not sure if it is different since I'm an Eagle Talon though. Also, is it a direct swap for the tail lights too, or do I need to do some wire splicing? Thanks.

At the taillights it depends on the model, but you have a 91 Talon, so it should be the same. i think only 92+ Lasers and Eclipses (us spec) have other taillight wiring (brake & turning lights together).

Maybe you have to put one wire together (from the 2 "brake light chambers") because it was cut, when the cars we're imported to Germany. The ends of the harness are just wrapped with insulating tape.

ckeins.. bitte mal genauer: es gibt also 1Gs dei belim blinken hinten kmplett incl. rücklciht leuchten?? mich würde da mal die verkabelung intressieren.. .hab das nur beim 2G bisher gesehen

ja, das ist beim 1G facelift eclipse definitiv so. zum kabelplan gabs mal nen thread hier irgendwo, wie man das nachträglich hinbekommt... finde den thread allerdings auf die schnelle nicht.

If you already have a Talon, hell even an eclipse on the 1ga's... you should already have things setup for the blinkers. JUST make sure you swap the plugs since they are different. Things would be much more difficult if you were a 1gb eclipse or 2g Eclipse. I did the US to EDM harness hack on my 2gb... and I love it! Just can't wait to get a set of tails to go with them seperate blinkers! hehe!
